Welcome to Anime Ultimate!:fella:
AU is looking to be the biggest and best anime club on dA, and we need you to do it.
We love anime and everything about it. Art, fanfiction, flash, we want it all.
This place is nondiscriminatory and we don't judge people by their anime or pairing preferences.
We want to be a community within a community, and because of that, everyone is welcome.

Hi guys! Noni (lloy0103) here.

I'm sorry I haven't been around much! Inky is too busy to contribute much of late either, so a huge thanks to TacticianJave who has been doing all the hard work lately :)

I'm still busy with real life and all, but I thought I'd give a quick revamp to the journals. You'll see a few other journals containing rules and past updates, which I will then link back to this one eventually. I think I'm on the right track, so we'll see how it goes from here!
I'm hoping to keep the new format in future to keep a much more organised front page, making it easier to find what you want to know about the club when you want to know it! If you have any good suggestions, send us a note

I also want to run another contest, but I need some good ideas on a theme to get the most amount of entries possible! Give us some more ideas!! :)

:bulletpurple: Absolutely no flaming or harassment. This is a safe place where people can post their art and not be abused.

:bulletred: Please do NOT favorite the art here. We ask that you fave the original artwork of the original artist's so we don't get in trouble and so the artist will get the recognition they deserve.

:bulletpurple: Any submissions that contain adult content must be marked appropriately, and if anyone has a problem with this, there's nothing we can do about it. It is the rules of dA.

:bulletpurple: No screencaps, scans, or any other type of art that is from an existing anime (ie: Naruto, InuYasha, Fullmetal Alchemist, etc) may be posted if it is not significantly photomanipulated. Admins will judge whether or not photomanipulations can be posted.

:bulletpurple: Art theft is completely unacceptable and will be reported

:bulletpurple: All types of art are welcome, including poetry, prose, and flash. Photography (such as cosplay pictures), however, is not accepted.

:bulletpurple: Het, yaoi, yuri, etc are all welcome. :)

:bulletpurple: Original art and characters are welcome, as long as it is in an anime style. If you are doing fanart for an existing anime, you can do it in any style of art (with the exception of photography).

:bulletpurple: Enjoy yourself and be nice. This place is for any anime lover who wishes to join. Stay friendly and don't bash each other.

:bulletpurple: Please do not advertise yourself here. If you want people to find your gallery or know who you are, then do so by posting art in our gallery, not by self-advertising in comments (particularily not on the main page). This rule also counts when advertising friends as well, so don't try that route either. Your message will be hidden. Please don't be an attention whore.

:bulletblue: Process:
   Deviate it in your own account. Send us a note titled "Submission" with the link to your artwork.

:bulletred: Please send only one submission per note, and you can't send another one until the last one got added to the gallery.

:bulletblue: An admin will approve it and deviate it. When we do, a link to the original piece will be put into the artist's comments.

:bulletblue: If it is not approved, we will note you and tell you why. This doesn't happen too often, don't worry ;) (see animeultimate.deviantart.com/j… for submission rules)
